Jonathan Bohn

With nearly two decades of experience as a lobbyist and public relations specialist, Jonathan currently serves as the Director of Public Affairs for the Inter Faculty Organization (IFO). He has a proven track record of building diverse coalitions and securing major legislative wins, most notably organizing the passage of the North Star Promise free tuition program and securing millions in state grant funding. His versatile background includes representing Fortune 500 companies and trade associations, and recognition by the Obama Administration for his contributions to federal student loan reform.

Jonathan excels at navigating complex policy landscapes ranging from higher education and gaming to environmental resources. Prior to the IFO, he held leadership roles at Goff Public and the Minnesota State University Student Association, where he consistently led high-stakes media and government relations strategies. A well-rounded professional, he holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Hamline University and specialized certifications in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell and Business Writing from the University of Minnesota.
